They are coming to give their best and search for their limits! Despite the fact that the team consists of players from various domestic clubs, they have a strong team spirits. Don’t be mislead by their cut smiles – these girls are real fighters!

It’s the final stretch for the teams participating in the IHF Youth U18 Women’s World Championships, that will be held in Kielce from 7 to 19 August. Croatian “Kadetkinje” started their preparations last Thursday in picturesque Zadar on the Adriatic Sea. They train under catious eye of their coach Goran Bobić and still have in plan some friendly games ahead of the tournament.

The Croatian National Team is compound of players from many different clubs in Croatia. Some of them play in Croatian first division. This generation took part in one competition that was held in Slovakia last year, W17 EHF EURO where they finished thirteenth (13.).

The team is looking forward to take part in the World Championship for the first time. It will be nice and great experience for everyone and is expected to help them for later development as persons and as players. The Croatian side claims that their group is very strong and interesting, but It is up to them to just give it all in every game. Then they will see where their possibilities are and where are their limits.

The team’s key players are goalkeeper Petra Marinović and left back Ema Guskić. These two girls are among younger players in the team, but already playing very important role. Their attitude during the tournament may be decisive for their equipe final results.
