After one day rest handballers competing in groups A and C will be back on Thursday to Politechnika Hall and Legionów Hall. Local supporters certainly wait for the match of Polish representatives but other games will be also full of emotions.

HALL LEGIONÓW

It will be a day of mixed pairs! Teams, that lost their first duels, will face victorious equipes. At 16:00 our “last minute” team from Austria will play against Romania, that in minimum size won against Slovakia, while the last mentioned will stand vis-a-vis the host. On one hand, Polish girls should have an easier task than two days before, as Slovakia is more predictable and systematized team than exotic Angola. On the other one, they have more experience in tournaments of this level, so still it will be a very difficult opponent. In the end of the day we will see probably quite one-sided match. Angola will face current European Champions, Germany, that defeated Austria with nine goals in their first match.

GROUP A

16:00 AUT – ROU

18:00 SVK – POL

20:00 ANG – GER

HALL POLITECHNIKA ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKA

In the first match handballers from China and Russia will face each other. The Chinese lost their opening game with Norway, which is why in the second match they will be highly-motivated to score goals. The Russian women who defeated Argentina are in  much better situation. However, the representatives of the coaching staff admitted that before that duel they had a lot of analysis materials and knew everything about their rivals, and now it will be completely different.

The european battle between the Netherlands and Norwegians promises to be interesting. Both teams had won in their first matches and want to take first place in their group. At the end of the competition day Argentina and Japan will be fighting to score first points.

GROUP C

16:00 CHN – RUS

18:00 NED – NOR

20:00 ARG – JPN
