We can finally start the IHF Youth U18 Women’s World Championship 2018! Since morning the rivalry will take place in two Kielce’s arenas, the Hall Legionów and the Hall Politechnika. At 17:45, in the first one, the Opening Ceremony will start and after that, the hosts will play against Angola in their debut at the tournament of such level.
HALL LEGIONÓW
In this arena everything will start today. Here, at 17:45 we will have the Opening Ceremony. International handball stars in the stands, great ilumination and a special music guest – you really can’t miss it! Right after that Poland will play against Angola – exotic team with good backs and famous for their strong defence and one-by-one playing abilities. The white-and-reds will have to face their first challenge, which definitely will strike a chord of the local fans.
However, the competition in Hall Legionów will start much earlier. At 10 AM first two teams will appear on the field. The European Champions from 2017, Germany, will play against these, who took a real last-minute offer to be a part of the tournament. We will also watch some Balkan and Scandinavian handball with exotic accents of i.a. Egypt and Chille.

HALL POLITECHNIKA
Only four teams participated in all seven editions of the IHF Youth U18 Women’s World Championship and three of them can be seen in the Politechnika Świętokrzyska Hall. These are Japanese, South Korean’s and French.
The attention of handball fans should be focused especially on the Russian and Korean who two years ago in Bratislava won gold and bronze medals, but this does not mean that the other teams will not bring huge emotions. Norwegian, Spanish and French have great ambitions.
For sure Chinese, Tunisian and Argentinian will present interesting techniques, because their style is significantly different from that used in Europe.
