Representation of Russia still remains unbeaten after winning high with Tunisia, they advance to the 1/4 finals.

The Russians won their group and were the favorite of the duel with Tunisia. Like the previous matches, from the beginning the advantage of the Russians began to grow and already in the eighth minute they already had four goals advantage. Liubov Sidorichevej handballers played very well in defense, and had a lot of fastbreakes. Tunisia didn’t remain indebted and tried a very high and aggressive 3-3 defensive. Eventually, after the first half, the Russians led by 18:10.

After resuming the game, the Russians increased their advantage at a rapid pace! They played almost perfectly in each element and in the 39th minute they had thirteen  goals more than Tunisia. A team coach from Africa tried to save the situation, he took time. But that did’nt help much, and Russia promote to the quarterfinals in good style.

Tatiana Berezniak (assistant coach of Russia): It’s hard to play against teams like Tunisia because we prefer a completely different style than we do. In the first half it was obvious that the girls from Tunisia tried to score goals and we were slightly lazy. In the end, we won. Now we are playing with Denmark, we have an interesting match ahead of us., Denmark will fight, and so will Russia. I invite all the handball fans to watch this game.

Yessine Arfa (director of Tunisia): Today we had only 25 minutes of good game, but It was too hard to play against Russia on physical  level. We need to work really hard to play on higher level.
